How long do sessions usually last?
The duration of sessions varies based on the age of the child or individual, and is determined during the intake process. Generally, sessions for younger children last between 30 to 45 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes allocated for note-taking. For adolescents and adults, sessions typically last up to one hour.

Can I claim rebates through Medicare or Private Health?
Currently, Under the Umbrella does not offer Medicare rebates, but we do collaborate with various Private Health insurance providers to assist with your fee payments.

Are you able to provide a service if my child has an NDIS plan?
Yes, Under the Umbrella welcomes both self-managed and plan-managed participants.

What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?
If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Note that cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session will incur the full session fee.
